Confirmation 2023

On May 28, Pentecost, we celebrated the Affirmation of Baptism of 3 wonderful young people, Abby, Kaiden, and Tyler. these kids are committed to becoming disciples of Christ, and they continued to amaze us with their faith. Here they are along with some of their 8th grade classmates who will be confirmed next year.

One of the highlights of the ceremony was hearing the Bible verses each had chosen.

Each confirmand was joined by family, godparents, small group leaders/mentors, and their individual mentors. As a symbol of all the support they have from these people, everyone tied a knot on top of the confirmands original knot on the cord.

And layed on hands as they were confirmed.

Here is a picture of the confirmands and their whole church family standing behind them. What a wonderful and meaningful service it was! I think we all felt the Holy Spirit at work.
