Good Shepherd Preschool is a child-based developmental learning center providing quality learning experiences in a Christian environment.

At Good Shepherd Preschool, we are committed to serving not just the individual needs of the child, but the needs of their family. For 45 years, we have provided a caring learning experience in the Southampton community. With that experience comes the knowledge that growth is constant. We are always growing in Christ, in compassion, and in educational development. Here you will find an environment where children rejoice in wonder and learn how to be a proud member of the community.

Programs Offered for the 2024-25 School Year

Our focus is providing the ideal balance of tradition and tomorrow. Your child’s educational journey has already begun at home with your family, and we’re honored to help your child develop and prepare for kindergarten. All of our programs have a common foundation of God’s presence, and a strong sense of community. Classrooms are equipped with centers and our teachers are devoted to providing exciting educational experiences. The 3- year-old and 4-year-old classes go on field trips and enjoy special in school programs from outside organizations. We have all school theme days and holiday celebrations (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, etc.)

Friday Enrichment: This class is offered to our 4 year old students. In enrichment, we delve a little deeper into the academic world but we do it with flare! Students enjoy experiments, exciting units, and trips. This is a great way to boost a child in an area that needs developing or challenge a child who is excelling.
Offered: Fridays from 9:00-11:30

*FULL DAY:  The full day option is open to students in the 3 and 4-year-old programs.  It is possible your child may have a different teacher in the afternoon, but all of our staff is committed to providing an enriching, safe experience at preschool.  Full day activities include science experiments, yoga/mindfulness, painting, gym, letter and number reinforcement, story time, bible fellowship, and instrument exploration. Make believe and magic are elements found in all of our programs. That is part of what makes Good Shepherd Preschool such a special place. The gift of childhood is a precious thing and we make sure to celebrate that every day with wonder!
